The chances that 3 or more IKS systems would all go down at the same time is not a likely scenario. While some other IKS systems are UP, 5 of the major IKS systems are down this afternoon. This may be a sign of a major event impacting IKS. Standby for more information as it becomes available.
What could be causing 5 IKS outages? A network issue connectivity issue between card sharing hosts and IKS servers? The subs used for the IKS sharing setup have been compromised? a breakdown in the software used as a base inside the receivers, such as newcamd?
There could be only a few reasons why this could happen simultaneously. Which is the cause? Its for sure this is not a network wide Echostar ECM, as K-Box, I-Link and Sonysat are all up and running. So of course this means it has something to do with the base software in these particular recievers, or the loss of connectivity with card share hosts. Think about it. In any event, if the coders did cut corners they should hopefully now be able to do the needful and return these solutions to service. Time will tell.
CNX is back online, reboot.
IKSlinger is UP and freezing again .
Neosat EKS is UP and DOWN .
Nfusion remains Down. No word from SUNS team.
Sonicview was making headway restoring some of its channel lineup, freezing and slow loads expected. But is mostly Down again now.
