Yes you would need new equipment in order to get sat 123 W. You have two options ( depending on your location ) and here they are.

Galaxy 10 C-band (123w)
Dish: 6ft
LNB: C-band


Galaxy 10 Ku-band (123w)
Dish: 30" (1.2m Hawaii/Canada/Carribbean)
LNB: Linear
