Skywalker Tuner Repair:

After receiving an unusual number of damaged tuners in the CW-4000HD, we ran tests on the returned tuners and have discovered that a large number of the damaged Skywalkers have been the result of attempting to use them on a different platform/OS (e.g. dual boot to windows or linux). The Skywalker-CW3K included in the box can only be used with the official CaptiveWorks OS. The skywalker is disabled and locked when an attempt is made to use it from a different operating system. This voids all warranty on the Skywalker.

Anyone that locked their Skywalker as a result of dual booting to another operating system, do not send the unit for repair since those units will be identified immediately and returned without repair and the user will be charged a minimum of $40 diagnosis and shipping fee.
