Default How To Save Your Settings To USB or STB

Once everything is up and running good, you can save the channel list and stb settings to the USB stick or the stb itself.
This saves re-configuring and re-scanning each time there's a new bin, and you choose to factory default

To do this:

Save to STB itself;

Press Menu
Select System Settings, ok
Select User Channel List, ok.
Select Save, ok.
Select Yes, ok.
Enter your name,( ie. The Bo.) then press the Red button on the remote marked Audio.
Press Exit until you get back to watching TV.

(Note) There may be other "saves" in there.
Personaly I like to get rid of them,, Just put X's beside them and exit.

To load them from STB; (after a factory default)

Press Menu
Select System Settings, ok
Select User Channel List, ok.
Select Load, ok.
Hi light you name you saved under.
Select, ok.
Say (YES)
Exit Exit

To save to USB;

Put thumb drive in USB port.
Press USB menu.
Press (FAV) button to upload.
Select (YES) and press O.K.
Exit

To load from USB;

Put thumb drive in USB port.
Press USB menu.
High lite the Captive Works database file and press O.K.
Change to (YES) and press O.K.
When loaded press Exit.
Then Press Menu
Select System Settings, ok
Select User Channel List, ok.
Select Save, ok.
Select Yes, ok.
Enter your name,( ie. The Bo.) then press the Red button on the remote marked Audio.
Press Exit until you get back to watching TV.

I've tested both way's allot and, No problems.

Bonus to the USB approach, is you can load this Captive Works database file that you made from an up and running 700 into a new 700 (ONLY AFTER YOU LOAD THE LATEST BIN AND REBOOT). And you don't have to touch a thing. Not even f1 0 0 0.

Now that's cool!!!
