Default CW800S PVR play .gts movies on computer

CW800S PVR play .gts movies on computer

Information on how to watch your saved movies stored on your external drive device. The CW800s saves the movies with a extention of .gts
What you need to do to play the movie on your computer windows media player is to do the following.

NOTE: Since the CW does not have the ability to give you an option to disconnect
your USB device safely you need to turn power off to your CW to prevent
damage to the USB port.

1. Disconnect the USB drive cable and connect to your laptop or desktop computer.
2. Create a folder to place your movies
3. Copy the movie's you would like to have on your computer.
4. Go into the folder where you had copied the movie.
5. Click on the movie which it highlights the file.
6. Right click the mouse so a box opens and select "Rename"(Windows Operating System)
7. Change the extention from .gts to .mpeg

To watch the movie using your default media player just click on the file you had just changed. Now you have a way to watch your saved movies... It makes it nice to download movies and be able to watch them when I am on the road!!
