Question Local Channels

I am having a hard time trying to get the local channels on the Captive Works 700S. I have the DP 1000.2 dish pointed at Echostar 7 @ 119w, Echostar 10, 11 @110w and Echostar 5 @ 129w, (129w is weak). Is there a way to re-scan for just the local channels " 2,4,5,7,9,11 and 13? I am located in southern California @ 90605. I am getting over 300 channels at 119w and 110w but 129, sometimes only 12-15 and sometimes 58 to 82.
Thanks a million,
Doug

You should be get well over 600 channels on 110 and 119.Sounds like you need to fine tune dish better.Surely you have entered state and city in user setting in the menu.

Question Fine Tuning Dish

Yea, That's what I was afraid of. I have a signal finder on the way that I ordered on the internet. Are they hard to use? Somebody told me you have to keep re-adjusting the db knob, is that true? I think I am getting 600 channels on 119W & 110W, but very few on 129W. Do I have to move the Azimuth a few degrees west to get a better S/Q on 129 or adjust the skew?
Thanks,
and Happy Thanksgiving!
Doug

Default fine tuning

I have found it easier to take a little tv and reciever right up on the roof to align the satellite.I tried to use a signal finder and did'nt have much luck the signal finder on the reciever works much better you just have to have it hooked up to a tv to see it.Thats why if you have a small tv you can bring it and your reciever right to your dish and see and adjust it.
