i have a box that is a clone. Some channels like 342 will blink on and off.How do you fix that?

Try hard reboot via rear switch OFF and ON again. If that doesn't work do a factory default, set up and rescan your sat's.

what do you mean setup?

flora what boss means is after you factory default a receiver you have to set it up again such as selecting your 110/119 birds and setting all your settings up again in set up like 119 tp is 12239 and your lnb settings and ports too, after you make sure all that is right then scan your birds again. You can go in set up and write them down first before you factory default if that helps. Let us know if you are stilling having problems or if your up and running

I did the factory default and then try to setup 119 but the channels were all wrong. Do i have to download a file first? the factory bin?
That's why I cloned it to begin with because I don't know.

flora, on 119 did you set tp to 12239? What are you set up for 110/119 and ports are set right also right? What about your lnb settings? What kind of problems were you having with receiver to begin with that caused you to clone it?

I have a cw600s premium and I bought another one for a 2nd tv.I just cloned it and it worked just fine except some channels would come and go momentarilly.That's why I asked. May be I did something wrong when I did that.
I put all the right info because I have the other one here to refer to.
When it was finished the only channel working was angel.

flora are you sure download was finished? When computer says finished, you have to wait on receiver, due too, computer finishes before receiver does. A factory file is to set receiver back to the way it was, and if you use one, you need to load it first and then cut off receiver and shut down loader and then reopen loader and go get your latest fix and load it, make sure you wait for about a minute or so after computer says complete and let your receiver finish up or you will have problems with receiver. Lot of times, you start off with a hard boot(switch on back of receiver) turn off and count to about 30 and then turn back on, if that don't help your problems, then you go to factory defaulting the receiver and set up all your info again and rescan channels, if that don't work, then you load the latest factory file and then fix and then setup all info again and rescan channels, pretty much in that order above will fix most problems. Always make sure ports,lnb settings,tp freg. are right and that you have high S & Q as well. I would try in order above and if you still have problems then let us know and we can go from there

Here i'll try to explain it the best i can. Hope this helps.

Items needed to update your CW600s Premium:

Null Modem Cable

Latest bin for CW600S Premium model.

Loader v1.05 or Loader v1.06 (I ALWAYS USE LOADER 1.05)


1) Turn the CW off with the switch in the rear.

2) Hold the front power button down and turn the box back on. "boot" should appear on the front LED.

3) Open Loader 1.05, click the manila_folder and select the latest bin. Select Download S/W. Click START update should begin.

4) DON'T TOUCH THE BOX UNTIL UPDATE IS COMPLETE. "-End" will appear on the LED.

5) Turn the CW off and back on with the rear power switch.

6) Factory default the CW (menu>installation>factory default), set the antenna settings, autoscan (red button) . Enable the patch (F1 then press 000).Wait for box to autoroll.

when i went to scan for the channels, all the satellite names are gone.
