Well i tried the factory reset and the procedure just like you had and still the same scrambled channels do i have a bad reciever the retailer says its not set up right this is what i dont understand do i just give up.

You never answered the question on whats sats you are locked on.If you are locked on 110 and 119 then you should get channel 100 its free.Are you getting that cnl?Let us know.

It sais it it 119 but it is not 8.10 it sais 6,8 and no that channel also sais scrambled do i need to move the dish my quality is 86 %

119 is ES 7.110 is ES 6.8 or 8.10 or 8.X.Your dish settings are incorrect.

I already posted this info in this thread but here it again. And like Ekim said tune into channel 100 that's a free channel and it's always on. If channel 100 isn't working your settings are definitely wrong.

This is what your settings should look like.

DISH 110
Sat Name: Echostar 8/10 or 6.8
Transponder: 12224
LNB Type: Standard (if using Legacy), OCS-DP (if using Dish Pro)
LNB Freq: 11250

DISH 119
Sat Name: Echostar 7
Transponder: 12239
LNB Type: Standard (if using Legacy), OCS-DP (if using Dish Pro)
LNB Freq: 11250

i went through and reset everything again i do have the add channels for dish network but the others are still saying scrambled channels any idea all the settings are right. thank you

Now does your receiver show that your locked on the sat you want?Do your dish settings look like one of the settings that Fta Pro posted above?Is your SID options turned on?Is A/R (autoroll) on?Transponder (TP) update turn on?Do you know how to check your DN key codes?Let us know.

i dont see where it says lucked it says found sat 23 110 6,8 i cannot find where the ar settings or anything like my other reciever th does have tp auto on andketupdater message on

Say if I am setting up 110 sat and I have signal and quality.There is a empty box that a sat name will pop in when I am locked on a sat.If it shows a different sat I am setting up I will move my dish until they both match and I have the best signal.You need to follow your receiver setup instructions one by one.Because you should be watching tv.
