Thanks for posting those vids-

I'd seen the 1st one. And while these are helpful, -no vids /screen shot "Do it Your self" exist for the NON official sat cracking / hacking pirate stuff...

I know it's risky to author them but...

Some of these semi programming maneuvers are very intimidating for those of us that have never tried command line or anything like coding...

Having some sort of step by step with a screen shot goes along way and is like training wheels.

I know it's a bit much to ask... I should have said something like it was a wish list -but even with great descriptions it's still a bit of huh?!

Hey, what can I say? this is FTA professionals and I thought it would be great to get our model the white glove treatment to get it started... The CW-4000 looks like a great machine.

We will have more videos over time, we just started this new forum 4 months ago and lost all of our old information so now we are adding new info every day.

Getting a bit braver poking around- and I was going to modify the 129 sat to go with your new info. What follows is the info in the file. Note that the channel info (off the stock CW-4000) seems to have more zeros than the ceil version?

Am I correct in thinking anything with a # in front of it doesn't matter -it's a user (non computer code direction so the fact that your ceil version has no such info isn't a big deal.

Before i replace the text I wanted to know if the extra zeros vs your channel info is /are compatible?

Thanks FTA PRO- Again. I've been thanking you privately but wanted to publicly as your fix has me seeing encrypted channels and how fun is that?
-I think all of us remember our 1st time eh? LOL

Mine was just hours ago...

Anyway I'm looking to keep learning and wanted to replace the channel list with the one that was mentioned here. I posted my 129 channel list a few posts back and noticed that many of it looks similar but in the stock version there are more 0000 after some of the numbers.... will that work?

Should I just try it and then restore it if it doesn't work?

anyone else try this yet?

LOL fledermaus you are very welcome bro, glad we got you up and running.
I wouldn't bother with channel list unless you are having problems with 129W or have your heart set on some local channels.

Don't fix it if it isn't broken
