Have two boxes cnx trio&duo that were running on public server now down,
is it still hopeful for public service? if not what private server would
you use? Can i still use the same boxes?? please advise, thanks

Sorry to give you the bad news but Duo and Trio are done as CNX coders stopped supporting their boxes, they are only good for true fta sats.The only CNX box that can be used is Nano2 but it has to be converted to I-Link and it will work on private servers.If you have some other model chances are that it is supported on private server or you might have to look for alternative and buy another receiver.XFactor and SV Premier are cheap and working on public servers.

If i buy a sv premier box and try public server, can i use a private
server with the same box in the future?

Yes you can SV Premier is a good option because it works on both public and private servers.It's been running very well on public since SVLan was introduced, if interested send me a PM and i can show you where to get brand new Premier with SVLan dongle for 89 bucks.

if you wish to dedicate a computer to your cnx and install a linux program on it and run two programs you can use you duo or trio for paid server Its not easy but it can be done
