Any idea on how long it will be before the new fix will be avalible? Also why is it that the higher numbered models seem to get the new downloads sooner or quicker than the other models?

If your having problems with the 196 bin reports say that maybe the Jan 9 bin 188 is working.As for fixes your receiver is older and there is not enough memory in the cs 5000 for better fixes so the coders try to do best they can for the cs 4,5 and 6000's.

Coolsat 4000/5000/6000 are discontinued models so Coolsat coders are in no rush to write files for those units. They provide codes for newer models which are still being sold hoping they are going to sell more units. It's all just business and it makes sense, new units are making them money and old ones are not.With that said i must say they have improved their support for all models big time in last few months. There was times where CS would come out with a fix before anyone else beating Viewsat,Sonicview and all others and that's not an easy thing to do.
