i have coolsat 6000 just down load the conf. file. put gate way, ip add. but yhe light is not turning green. stay red. any help please.

Try a hard boot and make sure the changes were saved.You can also try resetting your router then boot up receiver.

i have turn off router, box, r link still no green light. Can i go back to my old way and how.

If you had it working before just go back to previous settings, config file isn't a fix it's optional.

still not working. i put 000 in all ip add: then down load that 2 r-link. Still the light is red on r- link.

To load the receiver file you use the 2.4 Coolsat Proloader....use the straight rs232 cable(blue/black) to connect receiver to computer....open loader and click browse to retrieve file from whereever you saved it on computer....now click connect and then start....make sure you have correct com port selected or it won't load..once file upload is completed connect back up to r-link and tv and all should be good....you can check to make sure file loaded correctly by going to menu and look to see on left hand side if "system info" has been replaced with "weather"
When you load the r-link file to receiver are sure it completes upload...Progress bar should go across loader twice before completing....Do not connect receiver to r-link until you get file loaded to receiver using the straight(black/blue)cable that came with r-link or straight db9 cable that should have came with coolsat receiver when you purchased it..once you load the r-link file do a database reset/factory set to fully activate file...You will have to reset all dish settings,options,etc. so be sure to write them down prior to resetting....Once reset rescan each sat using "Autoscan" with "network search" turned to "OFF"...Also you can turn ?Autoroll" to "OFF"

did everything like u say. but still the r-link light stay red. i downloaded the config: file before that messes everything.

Sounds like it's your router that is causing the problem, i would try Config tool again found here >>> http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/cools...nfig-tool.html
If you are still having problems try connecting directly from your modem to R-Link dongle.
