I went to purchase a new Dream Box 100 and i as told to hold off from buying for few weeks because:
This email is to let you know that Dream Multimedia, the German manufacture of this unit, is releasing a new North American version with an ETA of the first week of March. This new version will have a new North American factory file with the correct satellites and transponders preloaded into it and some other hardware and software bug fixes in the first version we had stock on.
So if anyboby else thinking of buying might want to hold off few weeks

Sounds like a plan.If you can hold off I would just to see.Max are you already testing something that is working?

I have been Testing Kbox and SV360 for quite some time now. I have heard so much about Dream Boxes over the years that I thought I would test one now that there is a public IKS solution that came out around the beginning of this year. I have read that there support is solid for now and that there receivers require some basic understanding about programming and not for the faint of heart so to speak.
So if this is the case I will be asking for help for you Ekim and the rest of the gang and hopefully learning something I did not know before purchasing my new receiver for back up purposes

We will do our best.If you plan on getting one.Go to the DB section and start doing some reading on the basics.

Dreambox receivers are one of the best if not the best out there, they were actually first to come up with N2 fix and have been around for a long time.Of course being made by Germans so the quality is excellent.
