If for whatever reason you happen to be in PAL mode, which is a European video standard, and you screen is rolling constantly;

hit exit on the remote a few times to make sure you're clear
hit menu, setup(6)
hit ok
hit ok
now just hit 3 times
it will come in when you change to NTSC. Arrow down to the bottom and save it before you change anything else
try again if not, you might have messed up the controls!
