Please help

I converted my pansat 2500 rec over to puff. I used sat scan to scan to get my channels the problems that I am having is:

1) How should I scan with sat scan, blind scan or what?
2) With the sat scan I am getting alot of double channel, but I am also missing alot of channels
3) When I used my remote to change channels it don't work (ex: I am on channel 106, I used the remote to change to channel 303. The channel will go back to 106. If I go thru the channel list 303 is there.

I have a good channel list that I was using in channel master when my 2500 was converted over to 2700 ( all the channels are there and they are in dish network order). But I tried using it and it didn't work. All the channels were there but none of them came in.

Here is a little info on what to do after you load PUFF files. Hope it helps.

After download complete reciever will pause on dash.
Reciever will self reboot to knight rider dash (- - - -) "again".
It will pause on 4th dash for 3-5 minutes DO NOT reboot reciever LEAVE it alone.

Reciever then will self reboot with P U F F _ P U F F then pause on F for 30 seconds then display ON.


You can then load channel list Or just hook up to Sat cable and TV and rescan your sats again.

I myself did a Factory Setting in main menu first then rescan my Sats.


Set Default Key and let it A/R.

Turn A/R OFF (except Key Code) if experiencing rebooting issues.

No need to do a factory setting in main menu if your not having problems.
Do one if you are experiencing problems.

1) Blind scan works the best.

2) Sounds like you may have scanned the same satellite two times, the best is to run the power off from 110 LNB when you are scanning 119 and the same when you are scanning 110. Scan the satellite only one time each so that you don't have doubles.

3) Press the SAT button on your remote control and pick the Echo package ( dn ) and it will set the channels in dn order.

That channel list will not work right now, for some reason the new puff files don't work with channels lists ( probably because of the memory size ) the best is to do a factory reset and scan the channels.
