I think I got this 123 but I'am not sure.My s is 80% but my Q is erratic it is going up and down from 47% to 55%.On top right on receiver it is not come on saying any thing.I did ablind scan and got about 50 channels.Channels are0 th fo kbtz wnyi kmcc kktu ect.Will a channel scan help.What does erratic Q mean.I have motor but never used it because I do not Know how to set it up.I got it at garage sale.Thanks so much for great help.

Motor would definitely make your life easier. Can you let us know what kind of Motor are you using. Here is a little info on how to set up a motor.

USALS Motor set up for Stab HH 90

What I have found to work best for me when setting up a motor system first make sure the pole that the motor attaches to is plum side to side and front to back this is very important for a USALS system to work properly. The motor arm is what acts as your skew
Use sat calculator I like to get the info you need for your location

Next fallow attached set up instructions in the attached PDF document from 1 - 8
when attaching motor to the pole just snug it up for now do not tighten the motor at this point. You will have to turn the motor on the pole later

Step 9
now attach the dish to the motor and hook up the wires Do not hook up the switch just go from the STB to the motor and motor to the LNB

Step 10
You should have your longitude by know my longitude is 103 so for this step I use DN 110. Use the sat closest to your longitude if your longitude is 93 use bev 91 for this procedure go to receiver in antenna settings on the sat that is closest to your longitude change your motor settings to USALS and enter your longitude and latitude not sure what receiver you have but you need to move the motor to point to that sat, on my receiver when I tell it to save the settings it will automatically go to that sat

Step 11
Now that you have your dish pointed to (I will use 91 for an example) 91 turn the motor on the support slightly and adjust the dish up and down to get the best quality you can get on 91 snug all bolts just so nothing will move

Step 12
Go to the sat farthest to the west that you will be able in antenna settings change the motor settings to USALS and the motor should go to that sat, then the sat farthest to the east and change motor settings to USALS and that sat should come in at this point you may need to adjust your arc to get the best signal on the out side sats use the instruction that come with the motor to do this once this is done tighten up all bolts on the dish

Step 13
Now on the receiver in antenna settings you can change your longitude and latitude to fine-tune your quality

Step 14
This step is if you are using a circular and linear lnb like the Invacom Quad
turn off you receiver so you dont blow your switch when you are hooking up the wires
Now that you have the ark set go a head end hook up the switch(remember the switch was to go between the motor and the LNB) one to circular and 1 to linear side of the LNB

Step 15
Now you can go and set the antenna settings for each sat you want to get always set motor setting to USALS

sit back and enjoy

first you need a dish 30inch or bigger and a ku band lnb and you want sat 123 there ya go FTA!!!
