Thank you for all the help in configuring my DVB PCI card, I see you like me, are new in this deals, again thanks for the efforts, but because PC are every day more popular and I do not have TV at HOME, "I do not even have a Home", I live in a Motor Home or a Truck, but I do have computer (This little machine do all I need at "home" for me).
Any way, the problem I deal with is at the time to "test" my PCI card with paid programs, look like I do not have the correct softcam.Key for satellites like Echostar 1\2.
Please let me know what I can do.

PS. After the test of the software you just give me, I was send you a report.

To be honest i my self am not so experienced with DVB cards, i know the basics but far from an advanced DVB tester. We didn't really support DVB cards before so i didn't deal with them to much. Also what kind of CPU are you using 64 bit or 32 bit ? I know that some Hauppauge cards need additional drivers in order to work with 64 bit CPU's, the bad news is there was no driver available before unless that changed now.

Hi again, after the test with the DVB PCI card from Hauppauge model NOVA-S I like to give you all my report and how is performing including a little troubleshooting.
Computer system: CLON
CPU 2.014GH AMD
Memory 512 MB
Video Card RADEON 9200 AGP
DVB system: Card Hauppauge NOVA-S Dish 600mm round.
Software: OS Window XP
ProgDVB 6.04.06 Standard Edition Release.
Plugins
EmuNation-sc rev. 940.6
Softcam key

After a little time and couple PC frost later, I start a new clean installation of the Software described above, after finish the installation and PC rebooted I put the program to work, initially with a FTA channel like #213 NASA work fine. Them I test with a non FTA channel with no positive results, thanks to the instruction of the EmuNation-sc after waiting 40 minutes I have open the non FTA channels. Work for a day with no problems, but for some reason now is opening the non FTA channels for a minute more or less and them frost sound and picture. They can buck after a little time.
It is Visual C++ related with this problem?

Hi, Thanks again for the info you give me, that is just the program I use to make the NOVA PCI card work.
It is working in my computer perfectly, only problem I found was the memory in the system, actually upgraded to 1.5 Ghz and all the problem go away.

Software used together with the ProgDVB 6.0.1 are Plugins Vplug last release and emunation SC940.
Vplug normally is not working and Emunation is the plugin work all the time.
The Sofcam used is upgrade by Emunation every day.
This WORK.

Glad to hear we finally got it sorted out.We opened a new thread for DVB cards and we will be posting new fixes as they come out. So if you do go down just check the DVB section. Thank you for your update on that.
