Did you have any problems with 129W, if you didn't there is no need to load this file. Try without it and see if all of your PPV's are working.

I've got 2-502's, 504, 505, 507, 508, 509, and 513. Nothing above 504 will decode. I checked antenna settings again and similar issue as before. When I autoscan 129, only tp 5 & 17 seem to bear any channels. Only get a total of about 29 of this sat.
Is there a factory SAT file to revert to original settings? Any other ideas to try? Let me know if you want any specific setting info.

After loading factory file load the latest fix for VS MAX set up your sat's and rescan your birds. Make sure your ports are set up properly.

OK. I've gone through this routine more times than I care to remember over the last 2 days. Doint a Factory default, loading the factory file and loading the lastest bin is doing nothing. I KNOW my dish and LNBs are fully operational since I still have my DN HD account and all programming including HD is available when I swith to that receiver. I've tried various sat setups, auto and blind scans with no luck. Still a limited number of channels (both PPV and NO HD).
When I first bought this unit OUT OF THE BOX, loaded a bin from last november, did NO sat setup, auto scanned w/network on and came up with over 900 channels.
I am now certain that the cause was when I loaded the U012 and U013 SAT files. Facotry file and clkeaner files seem to have no effect on the internmal SAT list. Always now shows as ciel2 (and in the channel edit dialoge, has only 3 TPs set to DVB that provide any channels at all). When unit was new it showed this sat as echostar x.
Can ANYONE provide me with a factory SAT file or can provide some detailed technical setup or info? Similar expierences? Anything would help!

I don't know if you followed this step after loading sat files for VSMAX. It's best to load the file and perform a factory default after loading.

Sorry to barge into this conversation but I am having similar issues with my setup. I'm an FTA newb and after reading the information on Nagra 3 I'm beginning to question whether or not I should have invested so much into my setup.

I'm running a hybrid Slimline/1000.2 lnbf (with power inserter) and a CaptiveWorks 4000hd. I'm getting solid signals on 110 and 119 but 129 has been a nightmare from day one. Much like mxd6 I'm only pulling channels from 2 or 3 tp's. I've been wondering if my skywalker unit is functioning or if i've done something wrong but I am getting 90's (signal) on all sat's (on most tp's) Just wanted to let mxd6 know he's not alone and I look forward to any suggestions. Thanks

mxd6 I found a channel list for you that you can try, channel list will program the available channels

But if you use it you may have problems with you local channels as this scan was done in Louisiana. I think it may be worth a try, worse case scenario you are a pro at factory reset.

Thanks for the channel list! I saw it and will try when I get back from travel this weekend.

Also, for you and FTA NEWb. Hang in there. I'm finding it takes some tweeking to get things to work!

For instance, before I left this week, I tried resetting my SAT settings for 129 to UNIVERSALA (Yes that's right!) and tweek the TP freq up to 12282 then did an auto scan. BANG, got a bunch more channels including some of the HDs which had AWOL for a while. Still have not gotten back a large portion of PPV and HD PPV. When I get home I'm going to try some variations for 110 & 119 SAT settings and see what happens. I'll post results with detailed setting when done.
