Any piece of information is useful, i my self am huge fan of sports that's pretty much all i watch on TV. Especially soccer I've played soccer my whole life and watch it on tv all the time. If it's possible to get that channel in North America i would consider buying new equipment my self in order to get it. But just like your self i am not going to spend money on something that is useless.
