I know at times our units go down, my question is; most of the major networks(NBC,CBS,ABC,FOX) send signals out and are rerecieved by local affiliates in differerent areas. I have a Coolsat 5000 and really could be happy with just getting these chanels. As I'm so ruraul that the nearest stations I can pick up with an antena are ABC,FOX. Is there a satalite that I can aim at and reconfigure my Coolsat to get these channels?

by adding 30 inch dish liner lnb set at g10r you can get different stations check out tru fta thread on this site i had found my self and old primestar dish and adapted lnb to it havent finished installing it yet but can't wait

Well said try4hlp.Unfortunately right now all you can do with the cs 5000 is go true fta.There are several sats that has true fta cnls and a motorized dish would be nice.
