I am wanting to hook my normal dish reciever and my fta reciever up at the same time how can I split the satelite signal to go to both boxes. I have been having to switch my cable from box to box to watch either one of them.

Did you get a sw41 switch with ur FTA box? if not this is what you need sw-41 its a switch that goes 4 into 1 Diseqc switch and when you use this type of switch you will have to change ur settings Diseqc to port one for sat 119 and port to for sat 110 or vise a versa depending on how you have ur wires set on ur dish, i take it that you have a Dish 500 ?

I know I read something about that wonderful phone line they like to be connected to the box! I forgot what dose it does? How will it affect FTA boxes on a DPP+ switch? A person was thinking of Using, FTA with other providers. If having a 4 room programming but set two up in a different location like a office in other state would that be a problem?
