Post n3 speculation and the SV ihub

Here's a Good Rumor, c/p

now that a couple of coders have identified themselves and said n3 is not as big a problem as we thought, i just wanted to say...

(first of all to the coders: watch out guys, even though i'm glad to have the information, i wish for your sake that you could have kept quiet)

it looks to me like the ihub is $99 for now but i bet once it gets popular and later alternative solutions to n3 come out the price will go way down. $99 is really a lot, when you can buy a receiver for less than that. i'm not saying it's not worth it, i'm just saying if money is tight i bet you can wait and get a better deal. some people are saying the price will go up--but to me that's wishful thinking for a person who wants those devices to sell. technology usually falls in price.

i believe i bet on sonicview before for a solution to n3, and it looks like i was right (although maybe all the coders know each other and a SV solution is the same as everyone making a solution).

but if n3 is so breakable, why did they need iks, why did they need the ihub? and why is SV openly supporting the ihub? seems like they should have done it as a third party company. anyway... i'm curious what everyone else has to say about this...
