Ok, I'm sorry guys but I'm about as new to this as one can get!
My receiver is a Viewsat Ultra and I am trying to get the FTA channels...
how do I go about doing that? I really need step by step instructions... if anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I really miss my TV!
I have gone thru Ecostar 7 and Ecostar 10/11 to get the prgrams but I am under the impression that that is different than the FTA channels.
I'm basic... I'm determine to learn as much as I can! Help, please? <grin>

echo star is down on alot of other boxes also, do to transfer to nagra 3 to stop piratecy.

and all viewsats are DOWN!!!

only boxes that are up and running are the ones running IKS (internet Key Sharing) Sonicview 360 P and E 8000HD and they run on an Ihub threw the internet, and N-Fusion running kinda the same way along with Kbox


sooo sorry to say that box is Down ..ulness you have a 30inch dish or bigger and then you can get sat 123 wich is (FTA channels).. hope this helped you out!!! Viewsats are all down!!!

So Viewsat receivers are down... even for FTA! Now, I bought the receiver thinking that you can get FTA channels on it... even if I couldn't get the premium channels I thought I could get FTA, which is what the receiver is suppose to do. Hummmmmm... boy, I sure am learning a lot from you guys!
What is the best way to have the best of both worlds? Premium and FTA?
Different receiver? Which is best without breaking the bank?

Sat 123W is true fta channel and it does work with all fta receivers. DN and BEV are down on VS receivers and only IKS is working. You can wait a while and see what happens with VS or if you like to get tv now your best bet would be NFusion Solaris.
