Default dish set-up

undo the 7/16 nuts on the adjustment on the dish mounting bracket.turn the dish by hand. there is a elevation scew on the mounting hardware. do not turn the dish by the motor. look at your compus and align to degree.look in the posting (how to set up a dish). there are plenty of help there.

@ studmuffen50 there is a lot of useful info here you just have to look for it and read. I already gave you the links on how to set up your dish&motor. And i am asking you again, please don't start multiple threads with the same question. One thread will do. Here is the link again and use search button as well, it helps. >>> Dishes & LNBs - FTA Fix Files FTA Keys and FTA Instructions for FTA Receivers

studmuffen it is fine to ask your question here in General discussion all i was asking it's not to start 4 or 5 posts with the same question. You have to make sure If you have a motor, you can use two different types of settings:

USALS automatically calculates where the motor must turn based on your longitude and latitude. Usually when you have your Motor set to USALS, you can press OK and enter this information.

DiSEqC 1.2 is used to move the dish with the remote control and manually store the location in the motor's memory once you have an optimal signal. In Viewsat and a few other receivers, this setting is called "User" or "Installer".

Legacy SW
This is the switch setting you use if you have a switch with a Dish Network or Bell ExpressVu logo that does not have a DishPro logo. If you are using a DiSEqC or DishPro switch, or if you have only one satellite (thus not using any type of switch), this should be set to "None" or "Off".

If you have a switch with a Dish Network or Bell ExpressVu logo that does not have a DishPro logo, select the setting that is appropriate.

You can read more about here >>> http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/dishe...ide-lines.html

That is your problem then you need different LNB, i know you were receiving 97w which uses Linear LNB, for DN you need Circular LNB.

Sounds good my friend, sorry if i missed your post where you said that you used Linear LNB, but when you named the channels you were receiving i knew all those channels are 97w and in order to get them you need linear LNB. 97W is a very hard sat to get so obviously your dish and motor are set up properly, once you get new LNB's you should be up and running in no time. Good luck and let us know if you need more assistance.
