How do you update the satellite list in a coolsat 4000pro? OR, in the Extreme View Magnum? OR both.

Is there somewhere you download that information?

tracieok we do not call any of our members questions stupid, unless they ask them over and over LOL Go up the the files area for the receiver and go into like factory file or other files and look and see if there is a file to up date that. I will also go up there and see what I find, but you need to know where it is because you will find alot of info in those area's on your receivers that might be useful to you.

Your question isn't stupid but updating your sat list isn't going to do anything for your receiver as it doesn't have a fix. If you are using it to watch true fta sat all you need to do is load latest factory file.

yeah dont do no good to have a sat list, as to ur not tuned in to any sat and when you get tuned into the sat you want, then you go into menu and scan ur birds then you get a channel list,,,and Pro is rite all you need is the Factory file for true FTA

P.S. I know she gets very frusterating when you can find what the hell ur looking for,,,so just be patient
