DISH Network on Thursday became the exclusive U.S. carrier of Dawn News, the first English-language news channel in Pakistan. Dawn News is now available on DISH Network channel 748 and is part of the provider's PAK Mega Pack --- Romanian TV channel PRO TV International has chosen RRsat Global Communications Network to help extend its coverage in Europe, North America and the Middle East via RRsat's Hotbird satellite. The network has also selected RRsat to distribute its channel to Sky Italia in Italy -- Pre-launch processing for Arianespace's next Ariane 5 flight is currently underway at the Spaceport in French Guiana. Set to launch later this month, the mission, Arianespace's fifth of 2009, will carry HISPASAT's Amazonas 2 broadcast satellite and a communications satellite for the German military into orbit.
