Nano2 trade in promotion
Has anyone in canada used the trade-in offer at premium cnx dealers?

This offer makes me wonder if the dongle for the duo is worth it. Another $40 and you have a nano2. From what i have read the nano2 will play divx 3-5 files as well.

in the us the offer is $50 credit for any brand old receiver and remote. or upgrade any cnx model for a cnx nano2 for $100.

I noticed that the CNX Nano2 was up and running... is there something you need in addition to the receiver? Who is offering the promotion? Instead of trading in... what's the price to buy out right? Thanks for the info Putski!

I went into the Nano2 set up file to see what is needed for set up... so that question was answered, thank you! LOL But where do you get the promotion deal? I don't want to trade in my Viewsat but I'd like to purchase a Nano2. Do you have a reliable dealer that you deal with?

is it possible to see where you been on it or can it be permently wiped out makes me wonder.

Most of the postings on that website said that they couldn't get the promotion deal. How would you go about getting the promotion deal? Is there a dealer in Canada? And they also said, "The dongle for the CNX Duo is like $110 plus tax"... so not only do you have the receiver of $50 you would have to buy the dongle for $110? Would it be worth it?

conaxsat is a great receiver in the past. at the present it is not such a great buy. if you have an old unit you have to invest in the doggle update. that's ok. then run your internet thru that and by the way their service is down and up a lot also running beta. so the original price of the dou or nano and then the switch . then there is the old trio ,it was the top of their line except for the carbon hd that never made the market.it has all the extras.i have a dou & trio. you want em contact me. i am not going that route today.still a good little unit.many of us fta hobby'est have their favorite stb. mine is the nfusion.before it was the conaxsat.funny how times make a difference.

The CNX Nano 2 already has the serial chip installed so you would not need the hub.

So the Nano2 is not the better deal. Nfusion seems to be at the top right now? What are the pros and cons of the Nfusion? I think I'll check out Ebay to see a price range. Here I go Googling again! LOL Thanks guys! My hubby is giving me a week to come up with something... so I'm going to take my time and find out what I can handle! LOL Any suggestions will b great!

Now that IKS is big and knowing how the IKS receivers have been doing.nFusion has done the best as usual.
