Default Thought this might be of interest. encryption free channells on 119

c/p. They're all clear channels on 119W TP 12355 Hor. using circular lnb.
Video
Video PID ... Audio PID ... What you get
------- ------- -----------------------
4386 .. 4387 KELO - CBS - Rapid City, SD
4130 .. 4131 KOTA - ABC - Rapid City, SD
5154 .. 5155 PBS
4642 .. 4643 NBC
5922 .. 5923 KCWY - Casper, WY
5666 .. 5667 KGWC - Casper, WY

These channels won't show up on a scan of the TP . Just add the channels manually to the TP shown at the top.

Here's how to do it on a Solaris, phoenix stb
Menu>Installation>Channel Scan
Scroll down to list of TPs until you find 12355 Hor, then click on that TP . Scroll down to "Add Channel" and click.
Click on channel name and name channel whatever you want.
Add Video PID and Audio PID . Leave PCR PID 0000.
Click on "Add TP". This will show you a channel number.
Click Menu button.
Repeat the above steps until you have entered all the new channels.
Click Menu button and exit out of Installation.
DO NOT SCAN TP.

Go to 119W satellite channel list. You should see your new channels added. On mine they all show up as channel 1000 (differentiated by the name I gave each one) and not the channel number shown in "Add TP." Why that is, I don't know.

Click on the channel and enjoy free unencrypted channels. Don't know how long they'll last. I can verify that they do all work. Hope these instructions aren't confusing.
these should work on any stb,the method of entering the channells will vary.

I have a Pansat 9200, and I cannot find a way to add channels to TPs. I can look at the tp and get a great signal, but it appears that there is not an add channel option. I have noticed that there is a folder on the USB that is labeled channel data, but I have no idea how to input data or where to get it. is anyone familiar with this?

Try this

Menu>Installation>Satellite Setup>

5. Edit TP/Satellite

And then the instructions above.

I figured out how to save the channel data on my pansat 9200. the channel data saves as a .dat file. Since I can't enter individual channel data to the tp's directly from the pansat menu, is there a utility that I can open the .dat file and edit it to add the channel data?
