does anybody want a captiveworks 800? the one i have has turned into a dust collector and a doorstop!!!!!!!!!!as far as i can see it is worthless!!!!!!!!!!!!it is not even worth the postage it would cost to give it away to somebody!!!maybe i could give to the neighborhood kids to kick around for fun,but then again one of them might get hurt and i would get sued by their parents!!!!i could sell it for scrap,but i probably would not get very much for it!!!!!!!!!does anyone get the jest of this post??????????it does not seem that this receiver will never be worth a crap in the near future!!!and i am not interested in free-to-air,because most of it is not worth the effort!!!!!!!!

Things don't look good for any receiver that is discontinued or not supported at this time.You can cardshare with your receiver for a monthly fee and get tv but I wouldn't go that route.If you want tv now go IKS.Buy a nFusion Solaris its the cheapest and nFusion has the most cnls working on DN and Bev.

Yes it's true CW receivers have been useless lately other then true fta but you are not interested in true fta. There might be some hope though , there is a company that is said to provide support for Captain and some Coolsat receivers they might do the same for CaptiveWorks. FTA Pro where is everything on the Viewsat Nag 3 up to working? I have gone back to the old reliable DN month by month viewing and it is just fine for testing I was wondering when or if any word had been posted as to the progress being made at this time. I miss several of the local news channels as well as others.
