I have tried to get a picture and I'm getting a message on screen bad conection or no antena . I have hooked my laptop up to the cable and we have Interenet , using a linkeys wireless and running a cable 75 feet to the
hub , hub light is red on the hub and antena wire was used by viewsat? not sure what else to do.

well kbox is still down!

do you get any channels? even like channel 100,,,you should atleast get the open channels such as 100 and a few others!
and yes ur dish should be fine if you had it working b4
did you try and run one seperate cable in from dish to kbox?

I would check sat cable and discq switch, if it shows no signal something is wrong with your connection or maybe your dish moved. I would concentrate on getting good signal and quality first on DN birds and then go from there.

I'm thinking that ur problem is in ur settings! be in ur Menu settings some thing is not setup correctly in there..
and if ur using a switch all you have to do is ground out the center piece in ur cable wire and you fried ur switch very easy to do

Unhooked my kbox and re hooked my view sat to see if the cable or sat wa s a problem and I got Oni channel clear as a bell , so that was not the problem
The disc switch not sure why I ned this if I have this at Sat for two sats,
and I have first unziped the loader on my desk top then latest fix and put usb
in reciever still no signal or poor with no pics shows the channels ?

GOOD NEWS! I used possibley the wrong set instrustions and then used file
1-12 and system is up on channel 100 thou not sure why Bonaza coming through. my disc swith is by my satalite and set up for 110 and 119 can istil use these ? Thanks

Yes you can use the same discq switch, good to hear you got picture on your KBox, as you know it's down right now but when it goes online again you are ready.Good job.

very good angelw19,that is why we call it testing. great now you know different files for each box. when the server comes back n line you should be good to go. thanks for asking your question. enjoy.there are some channels that are not scrambled ,like ads and previews and such.
