I have set up my ki prodigy and down loaded files as per directiion after boot up the screen goes wierd its changing colour and bouncing all around and says no channel, not sure what to do ?tried hard boot but not coming up.

angelw19- sounds as if you did not load file correctly.>>> http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/kbox-...tructions.html you do have a downloading program called winzip or one of that nature loaded to yuor desk top ? did zip the file after loading it to pc . try to load the file again. by the way dish signal is DOWN right now but bev is up.

Tried unzip both down loader and new file by zip7 and re-install same problem
my screen is basic red and and a line throught the middle I have a
wieless router and ran a seperate line from to the hub not sure if this could be the issue I'm going to disconect check the settings and re-install. disc switch is this needed I have one form my Dish not sure why I would conect a second. Should I run factory seeting and re-try? not sure what else to do .

whats the deal you cant get file to unzip? and which file is it? I will take a look see for you...and by the way Kbox is down for time being but you should still be able to get setup

only channel that is up and working for Kbox is channel 455

I took it all apart and re insalled cables and the picture is fine sat settings
not sure without hooking up my old reciever please pass on if handy.

just got a kbox and now I find out its junk i have the option to change to conax and comments or same problem?

Did you ever see a good screen on your tv during any setup?I don't think your KBox is junk.Its all part of testing.

KBox has been the most reliable IKS receiver so far, this is the first time it's down for a few days.CNX has very good support as well so do some more research and decide what route you wanna take.

I unhooked the wiring and reinsatlled all cables and the picture was fine
I went to sat set up and forgot the sat config did a scan and it downloaded some channels. I read on the Kbox site some unhappy Kbox people and I contacted where I got the Kbox and he said they would take this back but if you think this is a good unit I'll wait for a fix , I'm still waiting for my Viewsat

There are no guaranties in fta but so far KBox has been #1 in support and stability.Even if you are to replace it with CNX which is up now in a few days the same thing can happen again and KBox might be up and CNX down. They will figure this out and get back online just not sure how much longer it's gonna take.
