If you are looking for DN sats only motor isn't really necessary and can be a pain in the neck with any receiver.Motors are usually used for true fta sats which are harder to find and bigger dishes.SVLan only works with Sonicview receivers such as SV 4000,360 Premier&Elite and SV 8000 HD.

Hello,

if you decide to get a SV LAN then I would say you should maybe find an old dish500, pro or plus and then you set that up for sats 119 and 110, then you could use ur other dish for like maybe sat 91 or 83 as Bev is spose to be up and working soon with the SV LAN
