DN selling $2B in debt
The Associated Press May 3, 2011
DN Corp. said Tuesday it priced an offering of $2 billion in debt.
DN said it will sell $2 billion in senior notes due in 2021. It expects the offering to close Thursday.
The nation's second-largest satellite TV broadcaster said it will use the proceeds from the sale for general corporate purposes.
The pricing comes a day after D*sh and Ech*Star Corp., a D*sh spin-off that makes set-top boxes, said they would pay TiVo $500 million to settle a patent dispute.
Shares of DN fell 68 cents, or 2.3 percent, to $29.11 in afternoon trading.
