Default Sonicview iHub Servers Require Serial Be Entered Correctly

On September 13th 2009 the Sonicview iHub servers now require officially that your serial be entered correctly in the IP Config menu on the Sonicview 360 Premier, Elite and HD 8000.

If your serial is off by even one digit or character it will no longer work!

You may think you entered your serial number correctly, but you should and must check again if you are still completely down. If you are temporarily down as others experience freezing, but you do get a picture at least every now and then since September 13th, your serial is likely accurate, but if you have been down since it was switched, chech and recheck your serial to ensure it is in fact correct.

Original iHubs were sent out with hard to read serials, it is easy without a magnifying glass for some to see 1's as f's and vice versa. "a" can also easily be mistaken for "e".

If you are certain your iHub serial is correct, and re-entered it up to 10 times, and are still down, either keep trying or have a friend or family member try as well. Sometimes a new set of eyes can reveal easily made mistakes when reading the serial.

After changing the serial, change to a new channel on your receiver that you have not recently accessed that is known to be UP by others in the community and/or restart your receiver with a power reset of the rear switch.

If the server is in fact DOWN for any other reason and DOWN for everyone, changing serials will not help you. Only engage in serial number changes if you have been down since September 13th, and only when you know others are currenly UP on the server.

If you are 110% certain your serial is correct, and you are still down, please post your problems in the correct area and we will see what we can do to get you up and running

With your remote 0 to 9 on the keypad and the letters entered as follows:
A= rewind
B=slow
C=forward
D=stop
E=play
F=pause
As this is Heaxadecimal system these are the only numbers and letters used so use your best reading eyes to decipher them.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.So love the people who treat you right.Love the ones who do not,just because you can.Believe everything happens for a reason.If you get a second chance,grab it with both hands.If it changes your life,let it.Kiss slowly.Forgive quickly.God never said life would be easy.He just promised it would be worth it.

You do not have to be crazy to be my friend, but it sure helps.................

Default Your welcome :)

Your very welcome Putski, I think the issues here are for the one's that might of had there numbers wrong from the start, it would of not been a really big issue in the beginning, but now that the sonicview server has made this a major thing, it will cause problems for the ones that did not know they had them intered wrong in the first place
