November 2008: cold weather finally creeps in and awaken to white winters weather on the ground and in the air. it comes late this year. warm weather has dominated this region with late warm California winter. sitting above six thousand feet above water we have lots of season changes. along with animals assort.the varmint that brings to mind this year is the ground squirrel.it's many habits of distorting your crop and land is crawling up in your vehicle and eating it's gathering of nuts and berry's and your wiring and installation. that was to my findings as of that cold morning.not only was my Tahoe dead and no power but under the hood was the installation eat up. no one knew what was wrong with the battery dead and all warning lights,theft derrent devices inoperable.so a call to the road service and with-in two hours a tow truck arrives to tow off my Tahoe to the dealer.i thought that someone tried to steel (theft) and deactivated the anti theft device and away with a chatter down the mountain they road. well to all a happy ending with only a ate away wiring and a eight hundred dollar invoice for thanksgiving.happy holidays to , merry ho ho and happy new years. one2 fta pro.

I was in Wal-Mart one evening last Christmas and wanted to get a battery installed in my watch. I asked the girl at the jewelry section to open my watch and replace the battery. She looked the watch over and informed me that Wal-Mart could not open the watch because they did not sell it at Wal-Mart. I told the girl to give me the tool to open the watch and I’ll do it myself, she said she could not give me the tool. I got very angry and was acting like a complete idiot and everyone was looking at me as I was yelling at the girl and told her I would never buy a watch from Wal-Mart. When I turned to leave I ran into a display of watches and they all fell and I landed on the top of the heap. Everyone was looking and laughing as well as the girl behind the jewelry counter, man did I feel like a complete ass as I ran out the store as fast as I could.

Where do I start.. well in my real life I am a fire and Code Inspector. I get yelled at called names and at times spit at. Part of my job. People do not like getting caught. I just want to make sure everyones safe that's all.
At the end of the day I do not I try not to let it get to me. People are crule and most of the time do not care about others. Just a few days ago finally it caught up with me.

I was feeling so bad that all I wanted to do is go home and watch my sonicveiw and forget the world. I had arrived at my fire station around 4:30 to clock out at five. I was so looking forward to that. When I had parked my vehicle someone pulled up stumbled out of the car and was having a heart attack. Or at least that was what we thought turned out to be nothing more then heart burn.

We were all releived he refused to go the hospital and as he was leaving instead of thanking us (which we didnt care) he shots us a bird. Who knows why he did that we will never know.
What a way to end the day... but it got better.. how well I will tell you. My brothers went back in the fire house and I went back to my vehicle to get my glasses when another car pulled up.. Oh no... here we go again.

But no it was a mother and her daughter who had a baby girl maybe about 1 or 2 old. The daughter had brought us cookies!!!! Horray cookies. And not just any kind of cookies home made you ask.... NO.. store bought. Oh well beggers cant be choosey. I called the Captain out about this girl who brought us cookies. Well he said great we could sure use them after just what happen. And especially after my day.

Well she came in the fire house gave the cookies to the captain, the other fire fighters were sitting down watching TV and kinda of watching the girl. When all the sudden the mother of the girl said Well my daughter is looking to see how to become a fire fighter and she is also single with no daddy for her own daughter.

It was as if the fire alarm had gone off every fire fighter got up and said well we have to go to the store and get our dinner and left the building. There I was with the Captain and the girl with her baby and her mom was looking at us.
I said dont look at me I am married. And the Captain oh yea the Captain was a girl. I clocked out left the building thinking you know today wasnt as bad as I thought.

To all my friends of the FTA have a great time with your family. Hold on to them every day because you never know.....

It is the day after Thanksgiving called black friday . My daughter ask me to go shopping with her so I went . THE DOORS OPEN my daughter and I split up I went to get a toy and she was going to get another . A man hit her in the eye trying to take the toy she had . So when her eye turned black , I saw first hand where the name black friday came from , no sale is worth your health .

This Christmas I thought I was going to spend it alone since I am not able to go visit my family in Mexico this year. I have a few debts to pay and not many vacation days at work. The very good thing is about to happen is that my brother and niece are coming to spend it with me and since the air fairs have gone down on price, I am also able to go and visit them by new year. I got a good deal on a flight.

Every Christmas is a time to rejoice. Family and friends are safe and well and we get together to reminice about the year gone by and the new year to come. Best wishes to all

two years ago on xmas eve, I detected an odd smell in my house, I was sure it was coming from around the brick fireplace, but there was no smoke. Well, that did not last long, as smoke started billowing out from the floor boards. I yelled at my wife and daughter to get out of bed and flee, I grabbed an axe from the barn and smashed a hole in the wall behind the fireplace. The main beam was smouldering, the fire chief said a piece of mortar had fallen from the chimney, lodged its way between the brick and the beam, and slowly dried out the wood to a point that it ignited. When the fire dept arrived, I had extinguished the fire, but the fire dept did what they had to in order to ensure everything was safe. That sure left a big hole in the wall and floor, and some nice renovations later, but we carried on with hosting xmas for our relatives after 2 hours sleep. Most of my daughters presents were in the room below the area, and they were water damaged, but we were all thankful and fortunate that the fire started at a time when we could flee easily, and we were thankful the volunteers came to our rescue that night! merry xmas

About three months ago I was visiting my youngest brother he was living in a friends house unfit for human habitat. seeing pitty on him, ask if he wanted to stay with me awhile, not resting and eating propertly he was having some seisures. didn't have money for medicines was able to get it. he was in a pickel. His birth certificate lost, no I D prior to comming to my home he tried suicide. He was thankful and so I. he's getting his prioritys in order calling his kids long distance, his wife also. The future is looking good for him. soon to be back on his own . HO ho HO !
