Ok well i have a set up of a Trek dtv dish that i am using with a motor. I was wondering if i need a 31 in dish to use the motor with since it only moves east to west. The motor is a sg-2100 i am connecting it to a viewsat platnum box. it does seem to move but all i see is the signal getting better but no q on the screen. I did not ajust the hardware limits so i think i will do that so i can get more range. i beilieve i have it pointed to true south and my elevation is 63 lat is 27 so that makes my dish bracket elevation at 25.5. maybe if someone could give me some tips i still need time to play with it a little windy today so i called it quits. any tips would be appriciated and when i do get new sats where can i look to get the settings for those sats.
