That's the way I come across my dishes. The satellite company don't want them. They know that a new dish is less troublesome to them. They rather supply a new dish with a subscribers account newly created. Be creative and take the dish off the houses that you come across. Tell them that you are a dish removal company and you are willing to remove there dish for free only if you do not have to remove the foot if it is attached to the roof. If they want you to remove the foot tell them that there is a charge for that because you would have to plug up the holes left in the roof. Some houses will have dtv and dn dishes on there rooftops. You know that they are not subscribing to both services. Tell them you are there to remove the one that they are not using. Since the hurricane there are a lot of dishes out of alignment. Tell them that you are contracted to align or remove dishes that were damaged during the storm. If the dish is out of alignment or knocked off of its true elevation and or azima settings then you know right then and there that there is know service at that residence. Take the dish they'll be glad you removed it as it probably an eye sore to them anyway.

Some of the nice parts you can find are from apartments; pole mounts good axes and turnover. Most providers like them to stay for the advertisement to the next resident but most managers hate them. A battery saw works the best to cut them off close to the ground. But you can always cut the u bolts too. Just make sheer it is a vacant unit. I have heard stories of manages calling later asking where something went but the person was blind to what he was talking about. Did they leave the dishes on the BBQ? We never noticed. Don’t they clean them in the sink! All so the cable companies with give you a list to ones to remove and boxes. They don’t know what to do with the crap.
