Default General Info Question?

The other day "Zero Gravity" told me about doing a hard boot and then just leave it on the same channel till the picture returns, I did and this worked. My question is I've had the scrambled channel sign come up on my screen again yesterday and did a hard boot as I did the other day and waited and the picture reapeared after some time passed. Now today I've had to do this about 3 times and after about 5-15 minutes of viewing after the picture comes back after the hard boot, I loose the picture and get the scrambled signal sign again. Is ther something else that I might need to do to aleviate this problem other than just hard booting? I have a Coolsat 5000, if that helps you on the question.
Thanks
Robert

Hi rjd048,

Some times is just a key change and all you need to do is let it sit and it will auto roll by it self. And other times is a actual ECM that is freezing the channels, lately we had many ECM's in the stream and the only way to fix it is to load the latest fix file available.

Coolsat coders are aware of the situation and are trying to come up with a full emu map fix.

Every time we have a new ECM we post it in this section FTA News & Announcements - FTA Keys FTA Files and FTA Instructions for FTA Receivers

That is the first place to look to find out if a new ECM is in effect and we update it when we post new files.
