Default i-Link IS-9500 HD Setup Instructions

This guide will help you set up the IS 9500 HD receiver.

1. Take receiver out of the box.

2. Connect receiver to tv via HDMI, component video, and connect ethernet cable to receiver and to router/modem.

3. Download latest Fix File and unzip it.

You can download it from here: http://www.ftafire.com/i-link-9500-hd-fta-fix-files/

4.Transfer file to a USB device.

5. Load USB device into the front usb port on receiver.

6. Load bin file: hit menu>>info/upgrade>>software upgrade. Select file and press ok. System will upload file , then reboot it self.

7. Next is to assign your sats and scan channels. Press menu>>installation>>antenna setup. depending on what birds you are aimed at. I will give example. Select your first satellite.(91w). Then change "Diseqc" to LNB1(just an example). If dish/dishes are aimed correctly. you should get a good Q&S signal and it will comfirm what sat it is (Right under the Quality bar) Nimiq 91. If you are locked on, then arrow down to search mode. Hit OK. and OK again. wait a few minutes for it to complete. Once scan is complete, Repeat these steps for remaining sats. Keep in mind to change the TP Frequency on 119w to 12326, or any TP which gives you good S&Q signals. It is important to be locked onto sat before you attempt to scan channels.

9. After sats are scanned, exit out and go to a working channel.
