No the public ilink server is not up but your receiver can be with a private server.If have have no tv use the japan free trial for now.Lots of info on this if you will read up.

I had the same problem on my 9500hd. Solved it today.
- Did, on the receiver, a factory reset.
- connected the rs232 to my old computer, and with the loader, factory file.
- then factory reset again.
- with the loader again, install the fta fix.
- then i was able to put it on, and save.

****beetwen each steps above, booting with the rear switch.*****

if your stb is freeing, shutdown, unplug, remove intenet cable. restart,machine will now allow you to make all repairs. cfg fix works great. . in notebook,remove all numbers except server address move all files from cam setup to usb repair files with notebook,setup files in newcam with usb shut down plug in int. cable,reboot set on 200 should works
