Default How to Setup Premium Japan Private Servers on I-Link Receivers

c/p
Quick How-To for I-Link receivers.

For any who may have had problems this is what i did, works great all ppv and channels.

Premium Japan Private Servers

Server Address: 212.117.167.145
BEV Port: 4422 did not use
DN Port: 4444 only one i used
Username: japan
Password: japan
DesKey 9999999999999999999999999999 (28 9's)

1- Enter Menu
2- Left Arrow to System Configuration and press OK
3- Scroll down to CCCAMD & NEWCAMD and press right arrow to ON
4- Press BACK button to save it.
5- Right arrow twice
6- Scroll down to Network Setup and press OK
7- Down arrow to Server Setting
8- In Server 1 press OK
9- Right arrow to NEWCAMD make sure you select newcam not cccam
10- Scroll down to Domain and press OK. Enter server ip or host domain info using your remote. Scroll to OK and press Ok to save it. Then click blue button! The period is between "-" and "/" .
11- Scroll down to Port and press OK. Enter server port info using your remote. Scroll to OK and press Ok to save it.
12- Scroll down to User name and press OK. Enter your client name using your remote. Scroll to OK and press Ok to save it.
13- Scroll down to Password and press OK. Enter your client password using your remote. Scroll to OK and press Ok to save it.
14- Scroll down to DESKEY and press OK. Enter your server DESKEY using your remote if different from default: 9999999999999999999999999999. Scroll to OK and press Ok to save it. Make sure you have 28 9's not 27 you should end up on the 29th blank space after pressing the last 9.
15- Press BLUE Button to apply server settings.
16- Move right arrow key to get to Server 2 only if you need bev and dn. If using dn only just use the one in this set up. Worked for me.

25- Exit, exit, exit, exit and tune an encrypted channel.
26- Enjoy........ if all info entered is correct and you are connected to the server.

if doesn't work try both username and password to 1111...not all channels are up but at least some are...enjoy!

Akai japan server has been down for a couple of weeks now, might have to look for an alternative in paid servers section.
