What file are you using and are you on public or private server?

I've been having the same problem. I cant get Ilink 9000+ to show user id. I keep waiting for that sound and display but never comes. I tried private and public servers and nothing just scrambled channel. I did the private japan setup just as it says.I used the Aug file as well. rebooted and scanned. Not sure if I have to be on static or dhcp ( i tried both btw) I have good signal too. Someone have any ideas? Thanks.

The public server is down so you will not get the "welcome user" message and sound. But your receiver will still work if you set up a private server. You will not get the message using private servers.
