Limesat Update Aug.27.2010
The newest update file has received great reviews from owners, but there are also a couple of issues to point out as well.
* For Echostar 7 (119), it appears that some channels such as (106, 132, 139..etc..) may show a weak signal and no picture when changed to from a higher channel such as the 300's or 600's. You can use the up or down arrow to change to the next channel and go back. The picture should appear with a higher signal. This is a transponder issue (12399) and they are aware of it. You may also notice some spotty EPG as it relates to the 119 programming. Satellite 110 appears to be fine. Some people have reported that switching the LNB type from normal to ocs-dp has helped with this issue.
* Some people that have received new receivers have had issues with connecting to the server. They are still trying to figure out if a manufacturing run of certain receivers is the problem. Limesat is aware of this issue, and if people experience a problem with connection and have tried everything in the settings properly, they should contact the dealer that they purchased the unit from for an exchange. This is where buying from an authorized dealer can be beneficial to the purchaser.

On the plus side: There are many additional channels with the new bin file. The EPG now shows the channel logo with the name of the channel. You can update the EPG at any time by pressing the EPG button twice. You can easily toggle between DN and B3V in the program guide also. It is reported that race car fans will be delighted to learn that the new file brought back all of the race view Nascar channels.
