Limesat Japan Public Bin 2.71 - Advanced Upgrades

Here are some of the many upgrades we have made to the limesat ultra bin file 2.71 over the last 2 months. After reading many of the forums we combined many of the users requests and worked to improve as much as we could in a short time. Many of these requests were made over a year ago and the old group/owners failed to come through where we have excelled.

Some of this upgrades may be unimportant to some but I can assure you that many users are very happy with these changes.

1. We had to create a full bin file to solve some of the troubles of loading the bin files. We seen so many posts where everyone says if you have this factory file you have to load this file then that file and so on. This is unacceptable for us as users should be able to load one file without any problems. We are still getting feedback but from what we are reading 2.71 is working great. Also note that due to our takeover you can be assured that future upgrades and fixes are guaranteed.

2. Meter screen swap. On the old bin files, if you were on the main screen or info screen the Q is on the left and the s on the right. When you went to antenna setup the meters were in revers which was confusing. They are finally all in a similar most popular display.

3. When creating the public bin files there are many servers embedded into the back end of the bin files. For example in order to get DN you will be on 1816 and Bev will be on 1815. You do not have to enter multiple users settings. You simply enter a warranty code. This is one of the many differences in having a public server with supported bin file or have a basic private server information. On private servers can not improve the bin files for users nor can they provide multiple servers like DN and BEV on the same connection.

4. There was no function to add New Channels, or Video, Audio and PCR Pids.... this is a Must Limesat Japan fixed this ,in installation-->channel scan-->edit tp, when in tp list ,BLUE_KEY for add pid

5. Recall Button Remote - Used to displays Channel Names only. Should display Channel Numbers and CH Name. Limesat Japan fixed this.

6. There should be a Menu screen for Signal Strengths when Pressing Key on the remote, F1 or F2, or Signal Meters could be on the Channel Organize Menus, so we can se the Signal Strength when testing Channels.

Limesat Japan fix: Added signal display in channel list and channel edit list.

7. Before if you were using the remote and going from Minimum to Maximum it makes minor changes in Sound, leaving users to increase TV Volume and then fine tune it slightly up or down. Low should be Lower and High should be louder than it was.

Limesat Japan Fix: We have added larger range of volume from minimum to maximum.

8. Before when clicking on channel 200, then clicking OK to get the channel list and then moving to channel 199 then clicking OK to bring up the channel, then clicking again to go to that channel was not available. You would have to exit to get to that channel.

Limesat Japan Fix: You can now click OK to get directly to the channel you want to watch.

9. We added some of the most common satellites at the top of the satellite search for easy access.

There are many many more bugs and features that were added that I do not even know of.

These features were added for everyone to use with Public or private. We will not pick and choose who we can support. We will support everyone we can regardless of how we are treated in return.

After seeing all of these features added and solved in a short time I hope that users will understand the importance of having public supported bin files as apposed to a basic private server who can not help support your hardware in any way. For those who do not want our advanced support we are not forcing you. We will still improve the private server settings so that you can be happy using the limesat brand supported by Limesat Japan regardless of how you feel about us taking over this brand.

Many people have good reason to be unhappy with how the old group/owners abandoned them. However that should not be directly to limesat japan as we are only here to help improve the software and support of the hardware you own.

I'm sure many users have good reason to be upset with the old owners for dropping support and not solving the 130 HD v1's problem. I know some of the prior support group is also unhappy that things have been taking out of their hands.

However the only thing that matters to us is that everyone gets the very best support that we can offer.
