Make sure to format USB stick and unzip file before transferring it onto USB stick. Here you have a link on how to unzip files - How to Unzip Files Instructions
and to learn more about USB stick follow this link - How to use the USB

And there is some more info on USB here - Eliminate USB Stick Problems

Question Limesat Air

I format the USB and erased all data ,I followed unzip instructions
and when I go to transfer file it still says USB not connected
but the light on usb keeps flashing then stops and receiver
says no channels. I have the wifi board on this box but not the
ethernet cable or satellite cable connected yet.
I checked file on USB, I factory reset the box also
and tried again and no luck,
Any suggestion.

Sometimes receivers fail to recognize the USB stick, leave USB stick in the receiver and do a hard boot via rear switch and see if box sees it after reboot.Sometimes it make take a few tries, if that doesn't work i would try a different USB stick, buy a small storage stick 1 or 2 GB and use it for files only.

"No channels" usually means that you have not setup dish settings in receiver and scanned satellites for channels.

It could be a hardware issue, hopefully not.Try using Loader and null cable connected to your PC and load v117 file (follow instructions listed with the file),here is the link for the loader - Limesat ( AIR) HD Loader

And here is the file - Limesat HD AIR v117 FTA Fix Dec.02.2011

If you receiver takes v117 file you are in good shape, then load v121 file.Normally you load factory file first then the latest file but no factory file has been released for Limesat HD Air yet.

You won't be able to get sats 72 and 77 with fta receiver,if your receiver works using direct connection the receiver is fine and set up correctly.I'll try to find some more info on WIFI for LS HD Air or you can use a pair of power line adapters if you want to go wireless.
