how to set up 2.73
How to set up 2.73 or any other file unless it is said to be a "patch" file and to just load it over the top of your current file. A word on patch files as well. Limesat considers ar patch file is going to be applied to the current version not some previous file. Inability to follow that simple rule can screw your box up. There that simple enough?
Back to loading current file. In this case it is 2.73. You need only 2 files on your thumb drive. Factory file 1.03 and the current file (2.73)
Now regardless of what files are currently on the box you do this!
Part ONE
1 - Factory default
2 - load factory file 1.03
3 - Factory default again ( it is in channel edit menu on this file)
4 - Reboot box
5 - load current file (2.73)
6 - factory default
7 - Menu / Network Settings / Limesat Japan Public Serever
8 - Press OK
9 - enter code, press GREEN button (be sure to use all CAPS)
10 - move down and verify Public Server is set to ON
11 - press RED button to Initialize Server
12 - Public Server Connect CAID [1816] CAID [1815] should appear
13 - if you see CAID numbers continue at Part THREE otherwise continue at Part TWO
Part TWO
1 - if you are reading this you hav a network issue of some sort
2 - from Network Settings menu select IP-Box Info
3 - verify you have IP information in there
4 - verify DHCP is on, push BLUE button to toggle feature on / off
5 - reboot both your router and receiver using switch in back
6 - when receiver comes back online check IP info again to see if it is now populated properly with IP info
7 - if IP info is still blank then you will need to read some more as you have network issues beyond the scope of basic setup proceduere
Part THREE
1 - set up your switches and scan your sats
2 - DN put on channel 200 (CNN) and wait (initial connection might require a minute)
3 - BEV use channel 400 (TSN), same wait time will apply initially
You should now be watching TV on public server
