this should be done from factory but its not

so those of you like me that like to mess around with your stuff and dont care about warranties

here is how to modify your stb

remove power from stb , take cover off ,remove front panel ,remove display from front panel "silver screws"

the blacken transparent plastic on front is held by some plastic things going into main plastic you can push that plastic forward very carefully

on display board lift led covered by some square metal now on bottom it has some metal ears open them carefully and remove metal from led

looking at front cover from back on left side you see square plastic on bottom corner where display goes you can cut that out

and on right side do same almost to where the little hole is but leave the little hole alone

put back transparent cover leave led at 45 degree angle you can smooth out all plastic from rough cutting

put everything back and enjoy
