Limesat HD Air - Set Up Guide
To start:
This Receiver ships with with a Plastic film on the Underside of the Receiver, please remove it so that it can ventilate properly.
Installing the LS400 QPSK HD Module
The Limesat HD Air comes with a Factory Module HD but mpeg2 only. To replace it with the LS400 do as follows:
1) Remove the 5 screws holding the Cover
2) With the same Phillips Screw Driver remove the Securing Screen holding down the Factory HD Module and pull at both ends to remove this Module (Plug is at opposite end of the Securing Screw Hole)
3) Place the LS400 Turbo HD Module of the pins and push the Plug so it is all the way in. Insert Securing Screw and tighten
4) Replace the Cover
Setting up the Receiver
1) Plug in Power Cord
2) Plug in Ethernet adapter
3) Plug In Sat Cable
4) Plug in the HDMI Cable
5) Boot up the Receiver
6) Set up Language (English)
7) Insert the USB Stick with the the latest bin, currently the Limesat HD Air v121 bin and click on this Bin
8) Wait till it loads it, do not power off, when done it reboots on it's own.
9) Go to Menu, Configuration, Recovery, Factory Rest
10) Set Up the Time Off Set Daylight Savings ON or OFF
11) Go to A/V turn SPDIF ON or OFF
12) Set up Auto TP, History ON, etc
13) Set up your Sats and Press Red Button to Scan only when the correct Sat is displayed on the to Right corner of the screen.
14) click on Ch 101, if you have Picture, proceed
Setting up the Network
For Japan Public Service no codes are required.
1) Press Menu
2) Press Configuration
3) Press Network Settings
4) Be certain Connection Mode is set to DHCP and it indicates connected
5) Press Blue Button to enter the Server Screen
6) Turn on Server 9 and 10
7) Press Red Button to Scan Servers
8) 2 Servers should Show Connected
9) Exit, Save
10) Exit, Exit, Exit
11) Click on CH 200 and wait for Picture
For Private server use:
1) Menu
2) Configuration
3) Network Settings
4) Set Connection Type to DHCP (by default)
5) Click on Blue Button to enter Server Menu
6) Choose Server 1 to 8 and switch it on, scroll to right to turn on
7) Enter the URL or IP adddress
8) Enter the Port :
9) Enter the Username:
10) Enter the Password:
11) Enter the DES Keys
12) Press Ok to Connect
13) Press Red Button to Save, Exit
14) Ensure Server(s) you want are turned ON
15) Click Red Button Scan servers - should display the number of servers you turned on with wording, Connected
16) Exit, Save settings
17) click on CH 200 wait for Picture
