Moved channels to NAGRA 3.

Yes a lot of International channels have moved to N3, nothing we can do right now until N3 gets cracked. Here is a list of channels that moved already.

DN Begins Transition to N3


DN has begun its transition to its new N3 security encryption today. The next generation in DN's satellite security has been reportedly implemented. A day many have been dreading for the last year has finally come.


Currently DN is utilizing the old N2 encryption coupled with the new N3 encryption to make the transition smooth and allow their subscribers who have not yet received their new smart cards, to be able to continue viewing uninterrupted. Once all the new N3 smart cards have been sent to DN's customers its only a matter of time before DN stops utilizing the old N2 encryption and totally removes it from the stream, then leaving us with only the new N3 encryption. According to the DN CEO, they plan on slowly removing N2 from the stream in sections.


This latest news of the transition is from recent reports across the community that DN has begun moving International channels over to the N3 encryption.

DN NEW Encryption announces N3 starting dates *MUST READ*


Hello everyone,

So we now have a answer to your questions about when N3 will be in action. Please understand these are Echostar time line of when the channels will be switching from N2 to N3 these dates very well could change based on issues or delays with the swap.
This info is not a rumor this time line comes form DN but is subject to change. from this point on no one should be buying a High Definition FTA box and really should think long and hard before buying ANY FTA receiver right now. I do suggest that if you buy you MUST buy a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) if you are going to buy a new fta you must buy a PVR that way in down time you will have a additional option PVRs are; viewsat vs pro, sonicview 360 premier, sonicview 360 elite, captiveworks 800, pansat 250sm, pansat 150sm, captiveworks ultima, conaxsat mini, conaxsat duo, conaxsat trio. If you own a PVR make sure you recode lots of movies shows and other content while you can. when n3 is in place it should take a while days weeks months before its cracked and before you have fixes for your box so make sure you are ready for that and at that time you might need paid tv back up.

Basic Info:
Nagra 3 or N3 is a new Encryption system that has not been hacked or opened, so until N3 is hacked/opened/broke there would be NO TV channels on N3 channels no file fixes to get the N3 channels till N3 is hacked/opened. This does not requier a new fta receiver brand at this time NO one has hacked or opened N3 meaning all FTA receivers will give you no channels for N3 so do NOT buy one a replacement thinking its going to work for N3 NONE fully work for N3 now.

1. International Channels ......... Immediately.

2. High Definition Channels ...... 3/4/09

3. Premium Channels.............. 3/11/09

4. All Other Channels.............. 4/8/09
