Nfusion HD NOI Setup How-To

first, we are going to re-configure your computers network connection so that it mimics the suns server. all the step in the process MUST be followed or it will not work.


1. open the properties for your network card (Local Area Connection or Wireless Network Connection)

2. select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click properties


3. now you must set you ip to static, the Ip address will be whatever your router had assigned your computer (192.168.1.20). subnet (255.255.255.0) and gateway (192.168.1.1) DNS should be 192.168.1.1 but this ip could be different.

when done, click on "Advanced".


4. here's the window you'll be adding the SUNS IP into, click Add and use the address in step 5


5. the addresses you will be adding are

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!

210.051.047.147 (Dish Network)

the subnet mask is 255.0.0.0


6. "OK" your way out of all those windows. your network connection will reset and everything will be good to go.

now, we are going to configure the nfusion so that it looks at your computer instead of the internet

ok, you will want a static ip set on the nfusion. you'll need to set to 192.168.1.25


set the 'gateway' on your nfusionhd to the IP address of the computer that will be used to serve the CWs. in your case (192.168.1.20)

subnet will be (255.255.255.0) and dns (192.168.1.1)

lastly, we are going to get NOI.exe going


put your p$ settings in the setting tab and save


go to the main tab


click Start, allow any pop-up about allowing noi access to network


if it's working, you'll see a countdown screen in NOI and you will get TV

If you try all this and still cant get it going, I can do a remote assistance connection and set it all up for you....but try for your self first ok

I am not sure what to put in under "settings" would yo explain what is supposed to go in each one (generally) thanks

Those would be private server codes as NFusion only works with private servers.If you need more info on private server send me a PM and i'll help you out.
